Sourcing candidates / response handling
When we work with you we consider ourselves ambassadors for your company and as such we always work to the highest possible standards. We feel that it is important that our candidates enjoy a professional service from us at all times even if the outcome isn’t a positive one for them. We have an extensive network of contacts and access to all major recruitment portals and each assignment we take on begins with fresh research, ensuring you have access to the best and most up to date talent available.
When we first contact our target candidates we talk in detail about their history, career aspirations, values and motivations and we cross examine these areas at six key stages in the recruitment process. We ensure that our candidates are given all the key aspects of the role to enable them to make a committed decision before being recommended by us.
Our evaluation and filtering process is rigorous so we are always confident that we are providing you with the highest quality hiring choice. Once we have agreed the shortlist and interview schedule we are then fully responsible for organising the logistics of these meetings.
The Interview process
The key to a successful appointment is having the best choice of candidate at interview and we will only ever shortlist candidates that we believe meet most or all of your criteria.
We communicate with you and our candidates to co-ordinate interview dates and location. Before interview each candidate is fully briefed and provided with an information pack. We contact every candidate the day before the interview to ensure that they are still committed and that they are prepared for the meeting
This is the first crucial step towards a positive outcome. We always make a point of speaking to our candidates as soon as they have finished their interview, their feedback is very important to us and to you. We will then contact you to pass on this feedback and discuss your comments following the meetings. It is important that we provide comprehensive feedback to each candidate as soon as possible as this will effect how the candidates think of Tinderbox and your company.
This is a delicate stage in the recruitment process and it’s crucial that it is handled correctly. We pride ourselves on being able to handle this stage professionally and in an unbiased way. We act as an important intermediary between your business and the candidate as it’s a time when salaries are negotiated, concerns can be voiced and other offers can be managed out. It is important that this stage is concluded as quickly as possible to maximise success and reduce the risk of failure.
We then stay close to the candidate as they work their notice period and protect them against the pitfalls of a counter offer and other vacancies.
We are keen to follow up the placement and get feedback from you to discuss how you think the process went and what you considered to be the highs and lows? This enables us to continually improve the service we offer.
We will also make contact with you after the candidate has started work to see how things are going and to ensure that both parties are happy.
