We understand that applying for a new position involves a huge amount of time and effort and we want to support you as much as we can through this process. When we discuss a job opportunity with you we take the time to explain the job brief, company background and the process to you in detail to enable you to make a realistic and informed decision about your interest in the position. We only put candidates forward for roles that they are interested in and capable of undertaking and of course we will always seek your permission before submitting your CV.
We want you to have a successful and enjoyable interview so it is our duty to ensure you are fully prepared before attending this meeting. We will work closely with you on various aspects such as market research, focusing on specific skill sets or talking to you about what type of questions to expect. For entry level candidates or for those who maybe haven’t attended an interview for a number of years we can provide you with some interview guidelines outlining what to expect and how you can prepare yourself for a successful meeting.
We will always provide comprehensive and honest feedback to candidates as soon as we can, whether or not you are successful in reaching the next stage. No one likes to be left wondering how they performed. Where candidates have been shortlist for another interview we will continue to work closely with you in helping you to prepare for the next stage. We can help you develop any areas of weakness, focus on your key strengths and give you tips for improving your performance.
The job offer stage is a delicate one and requires diplomatic and careful negotiation. Our role is to arbitrate and control this process to ensure that the best outcome is reached between both parties. Once you have accepted your new job you often have the hard task of resigning from your current employer and we can coach you through the resignation process.
After the offer has been accepted, our job is far from done. We like to take some time to discuss with you the highs and the lows of the entire process to enable us to build a better experience with each appointment. Also the first few weeks in the job are always crucial and we like to keep in touch with our candidates during this period to be a point of contact should any questions arise.
