The business operates with facilities in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia and has been trading since 1988. Now looking to further develop its market leading position internationally where it has seen rapid growth in the last two years, a need as arisen to recruit an International Account Manager to join UK Office. This role with be
particularly focused on the European Business, developing and managing the extensive network of agents, distributors and retailers which have been built up.
This is a home based role. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role will be to develop, manage and control a portfolio of international territories and customers with particular focus on Europe, to achieve or exceed agreed sales and profit targets in line with company objectives, and to sell all ranges to existing customers, and
develop new customers. In addition to the above, work closely with the Management and Marketing teams to develop the business as the market leading brand for every customer and territory within all categories of product.
Key Knowledge and Skills
Relevant experience in Toy or other consumer product sectors
Selling, negotiating and influencing skills
To be able to liaise effectively with teams within other departments, particularly marketing, NPD and finance
Planning and Organising
Problem identification and solving
People Management Skills
Full eligibility to work in the UK.
Regular overseas travel will be required, at least once a month.
